We took our nephews to Chester zoo a few weeks before and although slightly more expensive, worth every penny as we were there from 10am to 5pm and loved every minute!! Would not recommend for the amount of money you spend. It was a truly disappointing experience, and as other reviews say, it will take you an hour to walk around, so for two adults and two kids that is over £50 for an hour of mediocre fish tanks. As two of us our scuba divers and fish lovers, we were looking forward to seeing a plethora of different varieties of fish.to no avail. Everything had to be done by the park director, who, on a busy Saturday in school holidays, was not there. te duty manager was very young and had no autonomy at all. With 5 kids we would rather have paid full price for adults and got the kids free (all under 8 years old), the website should be more explicit. however, to buy tickets on the website you had no choice to buy tickets without the £2 discount. We had vouchers that kids get in free, but as we paid online (with a £2 discount) were not able to use the vouchers. We went as a family group of 5 adults and 5 children.
